Rug No.12 emerges as the natural successor to Rug No.11, capturing attention with its distinct rustic allure and sturdy construction. This piece is woven from rich, chunky wool, showcasing a classic basket weave design that lends a substantial and tactile experience. The rug's aesthetic is further enriched by the use of bold, oversized yarns that crisscross its entirety, culminating in meticulously handcrafted fringes on either side, all crafted from the same premium-grade material. Its warm, creamy ivory hue is derived from unbleached New Zealand wool, offering a piece that is as visually pure as it is high in quality. While Rug No.12 adopts a more traditional aesthetic compared to other offerings from the Cappelen Dimyr collection, it remains true to the brand’s foundational principles of mindful production, skilled craftsmanship, and a deeply personal touch.

It’s important to appreciate that the unique allure of each rug stems from its handcrafted origin, leading to slight variations in color and detail that ensure every piece is entirely unique.

Product Care

Cappelen Dimyr is produced by hand in the finest wool with long and strong fibers. Because of its natural structure, the long pile rugs tend to shed initially, and it is therefore recommended to vacuum the rugs daily in the beginning. It is common for rugs to lose individual fibers, and this has been taken in to consideration in all Cappelen Dimyr designs, to make sure that the excess fibers do not affect the quality of the rug. It is recommended flat spout when vacuuming long pile rugs to avoid damaging the yarn. Make sure not to use a heavy beater bar. Shedding tends to decrease within a couple of months.

Return Policy

Whether an item is eligible for return or cancellation, it is indicated once the product is added to cart, and throughout the checkout process.

To initiate a return, email customercase@thatcooliving.com for authorization. A 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Returned items must be in their original condition, unassembled if applicable, and in the original packaging.

For damage claims, report within 2 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging before opening, pictures of the damage, and a copy of the signed Bill of Lading (BOL) highlighting the damages.
